Wee-Cycle accepts scrapbooking, stamping, and card-making supplies! We had over
6000 Scrapbooking and Stamping items at our Spring 2011 Sale! This is a great
opportunity to let go of those supplies you know you aren't going to use and make
some extra money at the same time.
Let's face it.... we all have items in our craft stash that we bought because we just couldn't live without it... and now 2 years later there it sits, still in its original wrapper. Why not pass that on to a crafter who will put it to good use?
So here is what you will need to do. Register to sign up as a consignor. Pay a $10 NON-REFUNDABLE Consignor Fee on-line to complete registration. Once your registration is complete you will be given a consignor number and can begin tagging.
Gather up all the items you are going to part with (I know it's hard, but remember it is going to a good home.... and you can buy MORE stuff with the $$$ you will earn!)
Once you have all your items, sort them into groups to sell together. You may want to make theme kits (all fall stickers, paper, accessories together) or you may want to sell like items together (all paper in a pack, all stickers in a pack, etc.)
Remember that to make it worth your time you will want each kit or pack to be priced $2 or more. Think about what you as a shopper would be looking for in a kit and how much you would be willing to spend.
Once you have your sets ready to price, use our easy on-line tagging system to enter the information. Once your tags are entered, print them up, attach them to the bags and you are ready to earn some extra money.
You can choose to have your items sell for 1/2 price on the final day of the sale or remain full price throughout the sale. You can also choose to donate unsold items or pick them up after the sale. All donated scrapbooking/stamping items will be going to the local Ronald McDonald Houses®.
Don't forget to tell your scrapbooking and stamping friends about the sale. We need both consignors and shoppers for this to be a success. The more we have the better the sale! We have postcards and Flyers that you can pass out to your friends or at local scrapbooking crops. We are also on Facebook, so you can invite friends that way, too!
Please remember that we can not accommodate loose sheets of paper, stickers, etc. All items must be in bags with tags attached. If you need help finding bags to fit your 12x12 paper, contact us. The Paper Zone sells large bags that can be used for scrapbooking paper.
