As the mothers of 5 boys, we are very aware of how much it costs to clothe and entertain our
children. As busy moms, we got tired of driving all over town searching for a few good deals here and
there. That is why we decided to start our own seasonal consignment sale.
We love to shop at yard sales and find bargains, but we got tired of digging through piles of stained clothes only to find there was nothing worth purchasing. At Wee-Cycle sales clothing is inspected for stains and tears and is hung by gender and size so it is easy for customers to find just what they are looking for. Other merchandise is displayed in an orderly, shopper friendly manner, saving customers a lot of time.
We have also consigned items through local Consignment Stores. We were disappointed with the low 40% consignment rate we received on our items, the inconsistency with how items were priced, and the time we had to wait in order to receive any money for our items. Wee-Cycle consignors receive 70% (or more) of what their items sell for (minus a $10 consignor fee), set their own prices and they decide if items will sell for 1/2 price on the final sale day or remain full-price throughout the sale. Consignors checks will be mailed within 2 weeks from the end of the sale with item inventory tracking available on-line at the end of the sale.
