Seasonal Children's Consignment Sale
Scrapbooking & Stamping Event
serving the Portland/Vancouver Metro Area
2009-2012 Wee-Cycle LLC

Having a successful Consignor Drop-Off is a very important part of the Wee-Cycle Sale. Take a
minute to look over the information on this page to make your drop-off run as smoothly and quickly as
possible. There is a lot of information here, but the more prepared you are for drop-off, the less time
it should take you.
All consignors will need to bring their items to the Holiday Inn Conference Center at their scheduled
check-in time. (If you miss your check-in time, please still come, just know that we will help scheduled
consignors first.) You should plan on drop-off taking 1/2 and hour to an hour depending on how many
items you have.
When you arrive at the Holiday Inn Conference Center for drop-off, you will need to sign your
Consignor Contract. Only bring ONE tagged item in with you (to be test scanned) as well as a large
plastic bin NO LID or cardboard box that is labeled with your consignor name and number. This bin
will be returned to you with your unsold items and is an important part of our sort at the end of the
sale. You will be receiving your consignor and guest pre-sale passes at this time (and your volunteer
pass if you are also volunteering).
After you have signed your Consignor Contract, you are ready to start bringing in your items to be
inspected.
All infant, children, and maternity items need to be checked by one of our volunteer inspectors. Our
inspectors have been trained to look for items that do not meet our standards. They will not accept
any items that are broken, stained, torn, or missing buttons, parts/pieces or batteries. All items must
also be in good condition, meaning they should not show excessive wear or have smoke/pet or other
strange odors.
If you are consigning toys, baby equipment, cribs and/or carseats you will also need to look through
our re-call manual to be sure none of your items have been involved in a re-call. Consignors who are
selling carseats will also need to have a signed waiver for each carseat they are consigning. It is best
to download this form, fill it out ahead of time, and bring it with you to the drop-off. However, we will
have extra copies available at drop-off if you have forgotten yours.
As the inspector is checking your items, you will be placing items out on the floor. There will be
volunteers around to help you get your items in the right place. All clothing will be hung by size and
gender. So it will go quicker for you if you bring your items in grouped by size/gender. You can place
a rubber band around the hangers to keep them grouped until drop-off.
Once the inspector has finished checking your items, they will return to you any items that cannot be
accepted at our Wee-Cycle Sale. Please keep in mind that we want our shoppers to find quality items
at our sales so they will return again and refer their friends. Having high standards will lead to better
sales all the way around. So please be picky about the items you consign with us because we KNOW
our shoppers are going to be picky about what they buy.
After you have placed all your items out on the sales floor, you are done. Remember that you are
responsible to "set up" any furniture (like cribs) or other baby equipment (like pack-n-plays) so
please allow extra time and bring with you any tools you may need. Feel free to take a peek around,
but remember we will not be selling anything until our first pre-sale opens for our lead volunteers.
FALL 2012 PICK UP
Pick-up of unsold items is on Saturday, August 4th 2012 at 8:00 PM. All items
marked with a D will be donated at 2:00 pm. All items remaining in the building after
9:00 pm will become the property of Wee-Cycle LLC.
We will have your unsold items sorted for you and ready for pick-up.
You will want to check the "lost and found" table for any of your items that may have
lost their tag during the sale.
Make sure you have your Pick-Up Pass when you arrive. If you are unable to pick up
your items you may arrange for a family member or a friend to do so in your place,
just make sure that they have your consignor Pick-Up Pass with them at pick up.
If you don't want to return for pick-up put a "D" in the lower right hand corner of
your tags. Any item marked with a "D" that does not sell will be donated to PACE.
