Wee-Cycle is also collecting stuffed animals for The Dougy Center. Each year the
Dougy Center has a need for donations of new or gently-used stuffed animals –
preferably teddy bears – in a variety of sizes. The larger animals are used in group
sessions where children like to hold and hug these animals as they share with the
other children the painful aspects of their personal loss of a parent or sibling.
These animals generally need to be replaced on an annual or semi-annual basis.
During the holiday season, a new or gently-used (meaning it looks and smells new)
stuffed animal is given to each of the 400-450 children enrolled in the program at
The Dougy Center. It is a tradition that dates back to the time The Dougy Center
was established in 1982. Stuffed animals that exceed the numbers needed are sent
to a variety of charities in the local area including Clackamas Service Center, the
Clackamas PRC and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Department.
If you would like to donate a stuffed anmimal, you can drop it off at the Spring or
Fall Sale during our sale hours.
Donate your new and
gently used children's items

sales, Wee-Cycle raised enough to sponsor a child
